Manage delivery of user interfaces required for African roll-out of applications and websites
Drive and manage the delivery of the front-end team
Develop strategic innovative solutions to address critical business objectives system integration and manage the teams adherence thereof or influence effective implementation thereof
Provide technical expertise relating to improvements, defects, and user issues in the company in-house software
Enable every aspect of the development life cycle
Engage with copywriters and brand ambassadors, to update all external facing websites, media, marketing and social media
Build quick prototypes and wireframes to convey the vision of user interfaces
Lead adherence to the brand and brand guidelines
Oversee consistency and usability in all user interfaces
Provide expertise and guidance to developers of other levels and/or disciplines
Participate in code-reviews and deployments
Ensure all work is logged and maintained using the Repos in Azure DevOps
Required Qualifications:
Matric or relevant qualification
Relevant Tertiary IT Degree/Diploma in development from an industry-recognised training institution
Certification in UX/UI design
2x Microsoft development certifications Portfolio of web applications or websites
Required Experience (relevant or in a similar role):
8+ years development experience in C#, SQL, Blazor, and front-end frameworks
2+ years' experience in both Health Insurance and Financial Services
8+ years proven Experience in UI/UX design and optimisation
5+ years' experience in Agile processes and sprint control
5+ years' experience using Azure Devops or TFS, CI/CD, Pipelines
2+ years Team leader / delivery management experience
Good knowledge of Mathematics, Insurance, and Health Care
Proven experience in converting Excel workbooks to managed code solutions
Skills:
Technical Skills:
8+ years working experience with Blazor, ASP.NET, MVC
8+ years working experience in styling, skinning, and building of user interfaces, using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and other frameworks
5+ years working experience in designing interfaces for usability and friendliness
5+ years Experience with MSSQL 2016+, incl T-SQL and query optimisations, SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) and Power BI
4+ years working with Azure DevOps / TFS (tickets, sprints, code versioning, release management)
Working Experience with BPM tools or process flow systems
Excellent Excel Skills
General MS Office/Office 365 Skills
2+ years experience with Microsoft Azure
