My client an end-to-end Banking and Payments service provider presently has an exciting opportunity for a Team Lead & Developer (C# and SQL) to join their growing team based in Menlyn, Pretoria
Description
Leadership:
i) Proven leader in full stack development. (Experience in FinTech / Banking advantageous)
ii) A strong leadership track record of mentoring and managing development team members
iii) Proven track record of integrating development team into multi-technology projects across different teams.
Cloud, Containerisation and Observability:
i) Experienced in on premisses deployments of developments (Required)
ii) Cloud deployments such Azure (Advantageous) and AWS cloud (Beneficial)
iii) Deployment on Kubernetes and containerisation (Beneficial),
iv) Deployment of development that is Observable and System Monitored (Required).
Security and Performance:
i) Well-versed in web and cloud security best practices, including OWASP principles, with hands-on experience optimising performance across front-end and back-end applications.
Daily Tasks:
Code, develop and enhance full stack applications as per requirements, up to and including production deployments.
Lead, mentor and support your development team, managing timelines, resolving blockers, and fostering a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.
Be involved in Architecting the applications on premises and in cloud infrastructure.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automating testing, deployment, and monitoring.
Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to turn business requirements into technical solutions.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications and experience:
IT Diploma or Degree in Computer Science or relevant qualification.
10 years (minimum) Relevant experience in Direct Transact required development technologies.
1+ years (minimum) Relevant experience in leading full stack development teams
Technical Expertise:
i)Expertly Skilled Developer in C#, .NET, .NET Core and Microsoft SQL. (Required)
ii)Expertly Building responsive, microservices-based web applications with RESTful APIs (Required)
iii)Expertly Developing high performance, high throughput applications. (Required)
iv)Solid knowledge of DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines (Required)
v)Experience in modern front-end frameworks (Beneficial)
