Job Description
Our client is seeking a qualified Tax Consultant to join their team in Cape Town. This role requires a skilled professional to provide expert tax advice and compliance services to a diverse client base. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing tax computations and returns, advising on various tax matters, and staying updated on tax legislation.
Key Requirements:
- Qualified BCom (Taxation) or LLB (Taxation) or similar relevant qualification
- Proficient in tax software and MS Excel
- 3-5 years relevant tax consulting experience in an accounting firm
- Strong understanding of South African tax legislation (Income Tax, VAT, PAYE, Capital Gains Tax, etc.)
- Experience with SARS eFiling and other relevant platforms
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple client portfolios and meet deadlines
- Strong research skills to interpret tax laws and regulations
