Job Objectives
Design and Implementation:
Architect and deploy VMware-based virtualized environments tailored for business applications, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.
Align designs with enterprise standards and future growth strategies.
Configuration and Management:
Install, configure, and maintain VMware vSphere, ESXi hosts, and vCenter Server.
Manage clusters, resource pools, and virtual networking components.
Perform regular updates, patching, and capacity planning.
Automation and Optimization:
Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerCLI, Ansible, or similar tools to streamline deployments and operations.
Implement proactive performance tuning and resource optimization for virtual machines and clusters.
Analysis and Troubleshooting:
Conduct system analysis to identify virtualization needs and propose solution alternatives.
Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across compute, storage, and network layers within VMware infrastructure.
Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes.
Integration and Collaboration:
Work closely with storage, network, and application teams to ensure seamless integration of VMware solutions into enterprise architecture.
Support cross-functional projects and provide technical expertise during planning and execution.
Security and Compliance:
