Job Description
Our client based in Stellenbosch is currently looking for a Systems Engineer in Stellenbosch, Western Cape, to manage and monitor all the clientsxe2x80x99 installed ICT systems and infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Build, manage and monitor Infrastructure and Operations services, and cloud based services within the ICT engineering environment.
- Manage incidents and ticket request within ICT engineering environment.
- Manage and mitigate the clients ICT risks.
- Ensure process and system improvement within ICT engineering environment
- Update and maintain Support Procedures within the ICT engineering environment.
- Manage stakeholder relations and client service within ICT.
- Microsoft and/or Linux qualification.
- Degree in Information Systems or equivalent.
- 3 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in an IT Operations environment.
- 5 years' experience in an IT Operations environment.
- Network infrastructure, Intel based servers and Microsoft Back-office applications.
- Strong understanding of high availability and load balancing across different technologies.
- Windows Server 2008 R2 xe2x80x93 Windows server 2019.
- Strong understanding of cloud-based services and infrastructure.
- R576 000 per annum.
- 13th Check.
- Retirement fund.
- 20 days leave for the first two years, number of leave days increase thereafter.
