Job Description

You will be required to carry out the configuration, installation and validation of the solution that will improve the value proposition of the company towards the passengers travelling through its airports. Working model: Hybrid. International geographical mobility: Regular trips in South Africa (from a few days to several weeks per month). As an integrator, you will have as a mission the deployment of the solution at airports across South Africa until acceptance.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Experience in systems engineering
• Prior knowledge of the aviation ICT ecosystem
• Experience in web application servers
• Experience with databases such as Oracle Solutions, PostgreSQL or MongoDB
• Experience with IT infrastructure, including networking, virtualized environments, OS (Windows, Linux, Unix),
• Experience in testing and managing bugs within Linux and Windows ecosystems.
• A technological curiosity and a good team spirit to work with an international team.
• Good working knowledge of security (PKI, certificate, firewall, ...)
• Good working knowledge of high availability implementation, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Good conceptual knowledge of Java, J2EE, JBOSS application servers, C++, etc.
• Ability to interface with the client technical teams and maintain a good professional relationship.
• Experience or at least an understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure)

• Analyse the architecture and specifications of the solution to understand the company needs.
• Participate in the testing and integration strategy.
• Implement the test benches necessary for functional, performance and high availability tests.
• Develop automatic testing tools and prepare test data.
• Conduct system analyses with teams of experts in development, security, and IT (Virtualization, Network, Database,) to characterize problems and obtain their resolution.
• Define data migration and transition plans and lead their implementation.
