JOB PURPOSE



Deliver sustainability consultancy services to AESGs Clients to exemplar levels of quality. Enhance quality and efficiency of work and contribute to business/team development.

QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE



Relevant academic and with post academic professional qualifications to carry out the role. Generally, a minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience.

GENERAL EXPECTANCY



Significant experience and advanced competencies. Able to work independently on complex tasks. Project Management skills leading delivery and client coordination from project inception to closeout Foundational understanding of project contractual obligations, scope of work, and commercial terms. Hands-on knowledge in experience in sustainable design principles. Knowledge in passive design measures for high performing buildings. Knowledge of different climate zones, specifically hot and humid climates and ability to propose sustainable design and construction solutions to achieve optimised outcomes. Familiarity with construction industry and trends in middle east is a plus. Familiarity with green building rating systems such as LEED, BREEAM, Green Star, Estidama and similar. Fundamental knowledge of sustainability domains including energy efficiency, carbon management, water stewardship, waste reduction, and circular economy principles and their interaction with design and construction process. Technical report writing and presentation skills, with the ability to prepare clear, concise, and well-structured sustainability reports, certification documentation, and client deliverables.

RESPONSIBILITIES



Independently manage the delivery of projects in a client facing role. Delivery of consultancy projects to high levels of quality within project deadlines. Assist in preparing proposals when required. Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Seeking opportunities for repeat work and extension of work scope on projects. Guide junior team members within the project team.

Industry Experience / Thought Leadership



Demonstrated industry experience on a wide range of related project types, proven ability to efficiently manage project deadlines.

Project Management / Operational Delivery



Ability to independently manage the delivery of smaller projects ($50k) in a client facing role. Strong knowledge of technical discipline with experience in executing previous projects to a high level of independence.


Leadership / Team Management Experience



Commence taking on elements of team management in sub projects. Demonstrable experience in managing a small team of 2 or more, on live projects, or mentoring junior team members / graduates.

Commercial Acumen / Business Development



Manage commercials on project delivery with support from more senior team members. Assist in creation and delivery of proposals.

Problem Solving / Decision Making



Coordinating tasks and solving specific problems within the areas of responsibility.

Actively coordinate efforts to enhance employee experience, such as planning and executing recognition programs, conducting surveys, and organising employee well-being initiatives. Identifies external regulations that can impact the organisation.
