Job Description
Our client is a professional surveying company specializing in topographical, engineering, cadastral and construction surveys for the past 26 years. Based in Bellville, our surveying services are required mostly in and around the Western Cape. This is a great opportunity for any student or scholar who is planning to pursue a career in surveying or any other engineering related occupation. Our client would like to appoint survey assistants for next year who they can train and educate in this field. Applicant requirements: Must be able to do basic Mathematics, able to converse in English and/or Afrikaans Must be physically active & have a valid driverxe2x80x99s license As a Topographical Team Assistant you will be assisting with the following:
- Total station & GPS instrument work - co will provide training
- Loading & offloading of equipment
- Assist team lead with building of benchmarks where needed
- Assist team lead with levelling
- Assist team lead with setting out of steel pegs & droppers
- High School (matric) (Required)
- Afrikaans (Required)
