The Supply Chain Manager manages the end to end supply chain process for our Perfumes to ensure our customer needs are being met. You will ensure cross functional collaboration between the Customer Care and Warehouse teams following our strategy, targets and leadership principles. Are you keen to be part of this? Then this could be your pivotal career move.You will be based at Linbro Park Sandton, reporting directly to the Regional Head of Supply chainIn this position you can look forward to:Managing the customer care and warehouse teams. Provide coaching and functional direction to direct reports and ensure implementation of global guidelinesDevelop local talents in customer care and warehousing and be responsible for goals setting, evaluation and development of your teamDefinition and monitoring of the sites objectives on supply chain - Monitor warehouse KPI performance and build culture for continuous improvementManage a warehouse location that stores hazardous goods in a responsible and safe wayActively working with the customer care team on customer intimacy and delivering superior customer experienceCollaborate with demand planning and participate in demand reviews as part of our S&OP processSupport the customer care team with escalations, problem resolution and quality complaintsManage the inbound and outbound transportation process including cost controlFinancial management of the departmental cost centreBuilding relationships with Commercial and Operations stakeholders and incorporating their needs into the daily businessDeveloping our SAP supply chain processes on site to continuously improve our operational performanceManage Supply Chain KPI's (service, quality, inbound delivery) and cost (Freight, inventory at local level, discards)You will be at the heart of our business by ensuring that the supply chain delivers according to our customer needsYour professional profile includes:Degree in logistics, supply chain, warehousing or related fields (engineering)At least 10 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in a Customer service role or management role for a warehousing facilityAt least 3 years of experience in managing and directly coordinating teamsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsGood Knowledge of Supply Chain Management concepts, processes and related hands-on implementation experienceWork experience in a comparable environment (make to order manufacturing, high number of SKUs, international customer and supplier base)Business fluent in EnglishExcellent knowledge of the SAP and Business Intelligence Microsoft Excel applications.Availability for business trips as neededOur Benefits:Medical AidPension Fund13th Bonus paymentIP bonusAt Givaudan, you contribute to delightful taste and scent experiences that touch peoplexe2x80x99s lives.You work within an inspiring teamwork culture xe2x80x93 where you can thrive, collaborate and learn from other talented and passionate people across disciplines, regions and divisions.
