KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

Source suppliers to meet the requirements of the Museum in compliance with policies and legislation
Facilitate the procurement of goods and services for the Museum (as per the Annual Procurement Plan)
Assist and facilitate the tender process
Facilitate asset management
Handle contracts and SCM registers.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

A degree/National diploma in Supply Chain Management or National Diploma in Accounting or a related field
2 to 3 years' experience working in supply chain management
Experience working with procurement and tenders
A valid driver's licence
Intermediate computer literacy (MS Office applications)
Experience working with Pastel
Numeracy
Sound knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act, National Treasury regulations, Preferential Procurement Framework Act and relevant SCM legislation and guidelines
Understanding of SCM principles.
