o To assist Category managers within the SCM environment with the following operational and administrative tasks:
- Catalogue requests/renewals and creations;
- Outline agreement requests/renewals and creations;
- Contract upload requests;
- Supplier onboarding requests/extensions and creations;
- Sourcing activities such as supplier registrations and pre-event preparations;
- Track Open POs and prompt PO requestors on receipting;
- Track PO spend allocation and prompt business units
- Ensure that administrative SCM duties of SCM register updates and consolidation of RFP updates are completed;
- Provide SCM training and guidance to the business units;
- Engagements with SCM Category managers
- Support with B-BBEE breach and penalty process
- Support agile delivery of regional & local level 3 tactical sourcing activities (eg. Procurement card process).
- To drive the continuous improvement of SCM tools and reporting.
- To assist in the delivery of process efficiency opportunities for SCM categories via agile ways of working.
- The role holder will provide input into and support the operational & administrative category activities.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
o To engage with technical delivery and commercial delivery support teams to ensure an effective and agile system to all stakeholders.
o Agile delivery of SCM operational/administrative activities
o Support tactical suppliers via collaboration with internal stakeholders & category managers to ensure business requirements are met (Procurement Card process).

Must have technical / professional qualifications
:
o 3 to 5 years experience within procurement. (essential)
o Relevant Diploma or Degree (essential).
o Further studying towards SCM qualifications such as CIPS would be advantageous.
o Minimum of at least 6months+ in an SCM Enabler environment.
o Experience in SAP ERP, Ariba Sourcing, Ariba Guided Buying, Price Manager, Contract Watch Office 365 workflow ,SharePoint will be advantageous
o Excel proficient
o Proven track record of delivery against challenging targets
