Our client requires a pro-active Procurement & Logistics Officer, to ensure supplies, shipments, and stock arrive on time and in perfect order. You'll work closely with suppliers, transport companies, and internal teams to keep everything moving efficiently, cost effectively, and with top-quality service.
Requirements
Relevant qualification in supply chain, logistics or buying
5 years' experience in supply chain and logistics
Advanced MS Office
ERP/MRP experience such as SAP
Leadership Skills
Responsibilities
Process and track orders, follow up with suppliers, and ensure deliveries arrive on time.
Manage shipments, imports, and export documentation with precision.
Update shipping schedules, track late orders, and manage import/export documentation.
Build strong supplier relationships, negotiate great deals, and source alternatives when needed.
Work with transport companies, logistics providers, and internal teams to keep operations efficient and cost-effective.
Coordinate logistics operations with transport providers and internal stakeholders.
Spot inefficiencies, Solve challenges quickly, keeping projects on budget and on schedule.
Ensure stock is accurate, properly packed, and ready for each project's unique needs.
Spot opportunities to improve processes and drive cost improvements
