They are involved in various fields of publishing and printing i.e. newspapers, magazines, commercial print, book printing, stationery, packaging and labels.JOB SUMMARYEQ8 Recruit has been engaged to help recruit a Supply Chain Coordinator to be based in Cape Town, South Africa. The supply chain coordinator will be responsible for interacting with other sales and operation planning role players to document supply chain management issues. The role will also involve tracking sales plans, evaluating demand and supply scenarios, evaluating the production schedule, and interacting with production management.THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTIn order to be shortlisted for this role, you have the following skills and experience, but not limited to:-Matriculation Certificate and further studies in the field of Supply Chain ManagementASM (SAPICS) accreditation such as CPIM not a requirement but would be an advantageSupply Chain Management experience2+ yearsxe2x80x99 experience in planning/and or logistics/and or productionKnowledge of the Printing and Packaging industryPrevious experience in working on an ERP systemJOB DESCRIPTIONThe role responsibilities will include, but not limited to:-Managing the entire order fulfillment process to ensure an integrated supply chainFacilitating customer collaboration to establish constraintsDeveloping and managing a feasible master planEngaging business in all areas relating to order fulfillmentInitiating all preparation for the sales and operations planning processesPlease be advised that only shortlisted candidates that have the specific skills and experiences required to fulfill the responsibilities of the role will be contacted for a telephone interview by one of our consultants.
