We are an import company in the home decor industry supplying retailers across South Africa.
We are looking for a highly organised and proacrive Supply Chain Administrator to co-ordinate procurement planning, manage stockholding and ensure seamless delivery to customer warehouses.
Qualifications
Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related field
Accounting experience will be an advantage
Minimum 2-3 years experience in a procurement, logistics or accounting role.
NOTE - any applicant without the above education and experience will not be considered
Key Responsibilities
1) Using sales and inventory data, plan procurement schedules and raise purchase orders with suppliers.
2) Track purchase orders, ensuring timely production and despatch and monitor lead times.
3) Liaise with freight forwarders and ensure all documentation is accurate and timeously submitted.
4) Process and co-ordinate all outbound deliveries to suppliers ensuring that all pick and pack and delivery schedules align to meet deadlines.
5) Manage Xero based inventory system and raise invoices for shipments despatched as well as reconcile incoming payments and produce statements.
6) Manage stock spreads in warehouse weekly to minimise storage costs.
