5 years' relevant experience in an Engineering supervisory capacity
Relevant valid Artisan Trade Certificate (Section 13 or Section 26D) including statement of results.
Valid driver's license (if applicable).
Be a self-starter, self-motivated and result orientated.
Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Be computer literate in Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Have sound knowledge of relevant MHSA, Mines COP's and Standards
Have a sound knowledge of the IMS System, SAP and Coupa
Have a good understanding of Environmental Standards applicable ISO 9001/2000/14001/18001 or similar quality and asset management experience.
Be prepared to work extended hours on ad hoc basis and breakdowns.

Ability to schedule and manage maintenance activities.
Knowledge and understanding of RCA and failure analysis.
Knowledge of planned/scheduled maintenance, availability of maintained equipment, cost of maintenance, critical spares management and asset management.
Knowledge of COPs and legal requirements.
Apply the skills of client/customer care in a specific work environment.
Knowledge and understanding of budgeting and business accounting principles.
Ability to identify and maintain the various types of records required in the industry and understand why it is necessary to create evidence and maintain confidentiality.
Ability to conduct structured meetings and facilitate meetings effectively to achieve organisational outcomes.
Ability to plan, develop and deliver presentations.
Specialised knowledge of engineering practices and equipment used on the different operations (Conventional, MM and Process Plants).
