Job Description
To co-ordinate and implement aspects affecting the Aquatic Safety sub section to ensure the
provision of effective, efficient and economical services which compiles with all safety standards and
SA lifesaving practices to ensure citizens safety when utilizing facilities and services within the
division.
Key Responsibility Areas
- Ensure that all staff comply with the standard operating procedures.
- In conjunction with Manager of Aquatic Safety, Community Halls and Law Enforcement
Aquatic Safety awareness amongst the public.
- Manages the general administrative and financial functions of the Aquatic Safety subsection.
- Manages the Human Capital of the sub-sections by ensuring that all rules, regulations,
- Interviewing complainants.
- Responsible for the operational safety aspect of the sub-section.

- 4 years relevant experience of which 1 year must be at a supervisory level.
- Computer Literacy.
- Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent and a certificate in the Aquatic field.
- First Aid Certificate.
- Safety Management course.
- Lifesaving Examiners Certificate.
- Valid motor vehicle driving license.
- 5 years relevant experience of which 2 year must be at a supervisory leve
