Job Description
To provide a total management function-strategic, technical, administrative and implementation for
Parks, Leisure and Cemeteries facilities and services in the Division.
Key Responsibility Areas
- Undertakes the formulation of strategic direction in the form of short-, medium- and long-term
- Initiates, plans, sources budget and manages special projects.
- Consults and negotiates with relevant stakeholders with regards to site and facility planning,
- Manages personnel and the activities carried out by the Division.
- Manages Aquatic Safety, Cemeteries, Halls, Law Enforcement and Horticulture.
- Undertakes the daily management of the operational functions, administration and control of the

- Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Horticulture or Landscape Technology or Turf Management.
- Valid motor vehicle driving license.
- 6 years relevant experience in the green industry of which 2 years must be at a management level.
- Degree (NQF Level 7) in Horticulture or Landscape Technology or Turf Management.
- 7 years relevant experience in the green industry of which 3 years must be at a management level.
