Responsibilities

• Design and analyze structural systems for a variety of projects
• Conduct site assessments and perform inspections to identify structural issues and determine necessary repairs or improvements
• Prepare detailed engineering calculations, reports, and construction drawings
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure structural integrity and compliance with building codes and regulations
• Review and evaluate project specifications, contracts, and drawings to ensure adherence to client requirements
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and drafters
• Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices to continually improve the company's engineering capabilities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Professional Engineer (Pr.Eng a plus)
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in structural engineering
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other structural engineering software
• Solid understanding of building codes and regulations
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Attention to detail and accuracy in calculations and drawings
