Role: Structural Engineer (PrEng)
Location: Hermanus, Overberg, Western Cape
Salary: Market - Related
You're likely a great fit if you:
- Hold a BSc in Engineering (Civil/Structural).
- Are ECSA-registered (Candidate Engineer or PrEng), or in the process of registering.
- Bring at least 5 years of structural design experience on small to medium-sized projects -- this is essential.
- Have a solid understanding of structural engineering principles, codes, and standards (SANS, Eurocode, etc.).
- Are proficient in Prokon, and confident in producing design work independently.
- Have hands-on experience with site inspections during construction.
- Can prepare clear, professional technical reports and contribute meaningfully to the smooth running of an engineering office.
- Are self-motivated, organised, and eager to keep growing your skills.
- Have excellent people skills and enjoy building strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and contractors.
- Hold a valid driver's license and have a reliable vehicle for visiting sites.
