Job Summary Role: Structural Engineer (PrEng)
Location: Hermanus, Overberg, Western Cape
Salary: Market Related
Youre likely a great fit if you:
- Have a BSc in Engineering and are either ECSA-registered (as a Candidate Engineer or PrEng), or in the process of registering
- Bring at least 5 years experience in structural design of small to medium-sized projects this is a must
- Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles, codes, and standards.
- Know your way around Prokon and are comfortable working on designs independently
- Have experience with on-site inspections during construction
- Can write technical reports and understand how an office runs (beyond just admin tasks)
- Are self-motivated, organised, and keen to keep learning
- Have strong people skills building and maintaining good relationships is part of the job
- Have a valid drivers licence and your own reliable vehicle for visiting sites
