Job Description
Kick-start the next phase of your engineering career! We're looking for a driven Junior Structural Engineer eager to grow, learn, and contribute to exciting structural projects in a supportive team environment.
:
- Assist with the design and analysis of reinforced concrete, structural steel, and masonry structures
- Produce structural drawings, calculations, and technical documentation
- Support senior engineers with project coordination and delivery
- Attend site inspections and gain hands-on construction experience
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ensure work aligns with applicable codes, standards, and best practices
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in structural engineering or consulting
- Ability to understand Afrikaans (spoken and written)
- Exposure to structural design and analysis software
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit
- Eagerness to learn, strong attention to detail, and good communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team and take initiative
- BEng / BSc in Structural Engineering
