Our client is a rapidly growing innovative company of talented Architects, Engineers, Contractors and Developers based in Cape Town. They are looking for a passionate Structural Draughtsman to join their team!

About the Role:
As a Structural Draughtsman, you will be responsible for producing high-quality 2D and 3D drawings using Autodesk Revit and other relevant software.
You will collaborate closely with architects, structural engineers, and other design professionals, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and accurately, adhering to industry best practices and building codes.
Responsibilities:
Drawing Production:

• Produce detailed and accurate 2D and 3D drawings of structural elements, including foundations, beams, columns, slabs, connections, and Panels, using Autodesk Revit and other relevant software.
• Prepare drawings for various stages of the project, from concept design to construction documentation.
• Ensure drawings adhere to relevant building codes, standards, and specifications.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with architects and structural engineers and other design professionals to understand project. requirements and translate them into technical drawings.
• Effectively communicate design intent and technical details through clear and concise drawings.
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to the development of innovative structural solutions.

Technical Skills and Knowledge:

• Demonstrate proficiency in Autodesk Revit and other relevant drafting software.
• Possess a strong understanding of structural detailing and construction practices.
• Stay updated on industry standards and best practices for structural drafting.

Skills & Qualifications:

• National Diploma or equivalent qualification in Draughting or related field.
• Proven experience as a Structural Draughtsman, preferably in the building construction industry.
• Strong technical drawing skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
