Strategic Manager: Taxation & Finance - Remote
Strategic leadership role responsible for tax season execution, corporate finance advisory, and internal financial reporting across a multi-entity, fast-scaling professional services platform
Responsibilities:
Lead review and sign-off authority for 200+ annual tax returns
Own tax season deliverables, technical review standards, and zero-defect filing discipline
Lead complex client-facing tax planning and advisory discussions
Oversee monthly and quarterly financial closes for clients and internal entities
Manage internal financial reporting, reconciliations, and cash flow across multiple companies
Maintain IRS access systems, credentials, and e-filing integrity
Coordinate and lead offshore and distributed accounting teams
Build and document scalable systems, SOPs, and quality controls
Requirements:
CPA or EA required, CPA strongly preferred
7-10+ years of tax and accounting experience with leadership responsibility
Proven experience reviewing complex individual and business tax returns
Strong proficiency with QuickBooks Online, NetSuite experience a plus
Experience with multi-entity accounting and intercompany transactions
Experience managing offshore or remote accounting teams
Demonstrated tax planning and corporate finance advisory capability
