Job Summary Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop an accounting team of 10+, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and high-quality client deliverables.
• Review and sign off financial statements, reconciliations, and related technical outputs.
• Redesign and improve internal accounting processes, systems adoption, and workflow efficiency.
• Interpret large datasets and blockchain-based financial information, ensuring proper integration and accurate reporting across multiple clients.
• Build reporting frameworks, strengthen controls, and standardize accounting processes across teams.

Job Experience and Skills Required

• CA(SA) or equivalent professional accounting qualification (essential).
• At least 5+ years post-articles experience, ideally in a Financial Controller / Finance Manager role.
• Solid background in digital assets, crypto, blockchain, or similar high-data technical environments.
• Proven experience preparing and reviewing financial statements involving crypto transactions.
• Strong track record managing and mentoring accounting teams.
• Experience working with multi-entity and multi-client ERP setups.
• Advanced proficiency with digital asset accounting tools (e.g. Cryptio, Tres, Entendre).
• Strong understanding of ERP systems and systems integrations.
• High technical accuracy, strong analytical ability, and confidence handling large datasets.
• Must have direct experience with crypto transactions and digital-asset technical accounting.
