Job Description

Hire Resolve's Client is looking for a Strata Control Officer to be based at a coal mine in Mpumalanga!
Responsibilities:

Monitor and assess rock mass conditions to identify and mitigate ground-related hazards
Implement, monitor, and audit strata control measures
Conduct regular workplace and geotechnical inspections
Ensure compliance with legislative requirements, safety standards, and organizational best practices
Adhere to and enforce site safety rules and regulations

Requirements:

Grade 12
Degree / National Diploma in Mining Engineering or 2 papers of COMREC and Mine Overseer's Certificate
Chamber of Mines Strata Control Certificate for Coal Mines
2 years' experience in a Mining environment
Valid Driver's License

Benefits:

Salary: R600k - R800k
