RedCat Recruitment is seeking a qualified and experienced PLANT MANAGER for a large national concern. Position based in the Bethal area, Mpumalanga.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Grade 12.
B.Eng or BTech in Chemical Engineering (Chemical Engineering qualification is preferred. Civil and Mechanical will be considered depending on relevant experience).
Valid Code 08 driver's license / own reliable vehicle.
Competent computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet).
Previous employment in a similar position is essential.
3-5 years' previous working experience in advanced water treatment is ESSENTIAL!
Softening, Ultra filtration, Reverse osmosis experience is a requirement.
Understanding of plant health and managing water treatment assets
Previous management experience is ESSENTIAL!
Skills in planning, attention to detail and process troubleshooting.
Lead production and maintenance teams; manage suppliers and contractors
Ensure compliance with KPIs, safety standards and contractual requirements.
Manage P&L, stock control, and administrative processes.
Drive continuous improvement and process optimisation
Monitor plant performance and health to maximise availability.
Ensure effective resource utilisation and performance management.
Maintain accurate records, reporting, and monthly plant reports.
Deliver high-quality service and client satisfaction; conduct feedback meetings.
Report operational performance to the Area Operations Manager.
