We are seeking an agile and proactive
Stores Team Leader
to join our dynamic production team. In this role, you will lead our kitters and ensure the timely flow of stock to support efficient kit completion. You will also be responsible for monitoring component availability, ensuring all necessary parts are on order, and confirming that supplier delivery dates are met.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Ensuring that planned delivery dates are accurate
That available stock is allocated to a sales order
To follow up on due dates and notifying the Supply Chain manager of any problems.
Notifying the Supply Chain manager on late deliveries and incorrect purchase orders.
Planning kits as per the priority schedule and scheduling kits for the week ahead.
Issuing Job cards to workshop and loom section.
Inspecting Kitters files on a daily basis to ensure that outstanding components are expedited.
Good reporting & Administration
Accurate reporting on status of sales orders.
Attend daily scheduled production planning meeting.
Maintaining documentation and keeping accurate records of planning activities.
Negotiation with purchasing department on due dates on a continues basis.
Making sure that notes on NAV are updated, clear and accurate.
Signing off complete kits and posting on the group.
Ensure a high quality of work at all times and complete all task timeously
Obey direct instructions from company management - written or verbal
Take responsibility for your own actions and have pride in your work
Work overtime as and when the company requires you to
Come to work with a positive attitude
Comply with all company policies and procedures
Comply with all health and safety requirements
Comply with the company code of conduct
Qualifications and Experience:
Grade 12
Appropriate administration and stock control experience
5 years + experience in stores and planning environment
Understanding of stores management procedures
Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls
Valid drivers' license
Proficient computer skills, Microsoft office, NAV
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
Outstanding leadership, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
Available to work extended hours
