The purpose of the role is to adhere, monitor and maintain internal policies and procedures. To ensure the stock is correct. To take care of the stores, Receiving and issuing of the stock. To manage and control all areas accurately, report and summaries all the cost centers, assisting and support the supervisors.
Responsibilities:
Counting, controlling and verifying of stock for the company within the boundaries of the policies and procedures set out
Maintain and improve stock control in the unit.
Daily stock counts where necessary on the floor.
Ensuring that all stock counts are recorded accurately and clearly on the relevant stock sheets
To calculate variances on stock and cost report sheets accurately and timeously
Checking that all relevant issues, transfers, sales and spillages has been accurately recorded on the relevant stock sheet.
Investigate variance results, report back on findings and possible causes and solutions to rectify the variances.
Checking on stock counters and verify counts, unit quantity analysis and variance calculations.
Requirements:
Matric / Grade 12.
Certificate in storekeeping/inventory management advantageous
Minimum 2-3 years' experience as stock controller within a hospital/warehouse/manufacturing/hospitality company. (medium to large scale)
Ideally experience in the healthcare or hospitality industry in a similar role
Must be computer literate.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required;
High attention to detail.

Clear criminal record.
Flexible to work shifts between 6am-6pm.
