Job Description

Bull & Bush meat merchants is looking for a full time Stock Manager.

Must be available within the next 1-2 weeks ideally.

Job Role & Requirements:

2-5 blockman / meat cutting technican or management experience or experience within a butchery environment.

Must be able to diligently plan all block tests for all blockman daily. Must be able to supervise all portioning and deboning from all blockman to ensure we achieve the highest yield possible.

Must be able to coach and train all blockman on how to increase their yields daily and reduce the amount of trimmings per primal etc. Must ensure that all block tests are submitted daily and that all block test accurately reflect the correct output.

Must communicate immediately with management should any block tests completed measure below the required specification and GP level.

Must be willing and able to work hands on inside the production area and ensure staff are producing the correct specifications at all times and ensure the quality standards are maintained.'

Must have a strong ability to control stock movement and stock counts accurately and possess the ability to pick up stock count errors, miscounts and irregularities.

The candidate will also be responsible for the entire stock movement and rotation in the facility. Therefore the candidate must be able to control stock at all times effectively.

Must be able to work under pressure and execute tasks as instructed. Must be able to see tasks through to completion.

Must have a solid understanding of dealing with staff.

Knowledge in food safety & quality will be advantageous.

Must have a strong computer literacy and excel proficiency.

Must be reliable and trustworthy.

Must ideally stay in a location close to Sandton.

Pay: R15000,00 - R20000,00 per month
