Splashout has an exciting opportunity available for a Stock Controller to be based in Umhlanga, Durban.


The successful incumbent will be responsible for ensuring day to day stock operation requests follow the correct order entry system. Ensure the buying team is made aware of any and all items that require replenishing as well as all special purchases. Ensure requisitions are sent for capturing daily. Ensure that all stock queries are sorted out timeously according to the department procedures. Assist the Operations Manager with Asset Management.

Minimum Requirements:

Computer literate (MS Word, MS Outlook & MS Excel) 1-year stock control experience

Advantageous:

Driver's License Asset Management experience

Responsibilities:

Operational Duties

Ensure all stock requisitions are completed correctly and have been authorized correctly. Pick stock as per the requisition and guide the team where needed. Ensure all requisitions are sent for capture. Make sure all equipment is Tagged according. Assist with managing asset movement In and Out of the respective warehouse. Ensuring that preventative measures are in place to eliminate theft, loss, and misuse. Ensure the bin card process is followed for all stock items. Ensure items outstanding is communicated with the relevant team leader / manager. Ensure all items on back orders are issued to production once stock has been received. Check the warehouse stock levels each day and communicate all shortages with the buying team. Ensure tooling registers are updated timeously. Inspect all tools upon its return. Ensure all items for discarding are documented correctly and authorized as per department process. Assist with investigating variances when needed. Receive stock as per the purchase order supplied by the buying team. Check quality and quantity of products received. Notify the buying team of any shortages or quality issues. Ensure stock is neatly stored and labelled accordingly. Assist the Audit team with monthly stock count and assist with any queries that may arise. Ensure housekeeping is completed timeously and all archiving is complete systematically. Ad-hoc assistance as and when required per management request.
