To maintain accurate records of all stock movements constantly in adherence to company policies and procedures
Key Responsibilities
1.
Procurement (5%)
Engage with suppliers to source the best pricing for required stock while ensuring BBEEE requirements are adhered to as and when possible.
Ensure correct pricing is collated and reflected in Pastel
Advising suppliers of distribution and allocation of stock.
2.
Overall Inventory Management (25%)
Capture stock in the asset register upon delivery
Issuing and receiving of functional stock in accordance with process.
Asset disposal in accordance with process.
To carry out a physical stock take on a monthly basis and reconcile to system generated stock list for customer stock.
Update asset register with every stock movement.
Bi-Annual stock take of Stowe stock
Daily Maintenance
Capture daily movements of maintenance stock in the asset register.
Issue and take receipt of working stock to engineers.
Bakkie Checks
Ensure that weekly bakkie checks and stock takes are done.
Update engineer warehouses immediately.
Communicate bakkie check results to engineering department.
Process deduction forms as and when required.
Consumable Stock
Capturing consumable stock.
Distributing consumable stock.
Daily movements to be made.
Keep an accurate recon of all consumables.
3.
Reporting (10%)
Compile stock level report and submit to the senior stock controller.
Compile recon of consumables and send to the senior stock controller.
Compile minimal and optimal stock level report and send to the senior stock controller.
Compile and submit movement report to the senior stock controller.
Compile bakkie check report and send to the senior stock controller.
4.
Project Stock (20%)
Capturing new project stock upon receipt.
Complete checklist in order to issue stock to the engineers for projects.
Daily movements to be made on asset register once signed checklist is received from site.
Issue stock for prep if shipment needs to go to the regions.
Ensure signed checklist is returned upon completion of the installation.
Carry out a physical monthly stock take on project stock and reconcile with system generated stock list.
Upon completion of the project let senior stock controller know so that they can confirm with client if stock can be made available as maintenance stock and update the system accordingly.

Minimum Requirements
Relevant Stock Control or Inventory Management Diploma.
3 - 5 Years' experience
Driver's License
Valid South African ID
No criminal record
