Job Summary
Our client has an opportunity available for a Stock Controller based in Johannesburg.
Requirements:

Responsibilities:

Obtain quotes from suppliers from approved supplier list.
Raise purchase orders for stock replenishment and buy out of stock.
Complete customer application forms received from new suppliers.
Request company vendor application forms to be completed by new suppliers.
Inform project managers when stock is ready for collection.
Receive GRNs for returned stock.
Liaise with technical support to assess if stock is faulty or needing repair.
Liaise with administration clerks on actioning a return to supplier.
Count in and sign for stock received from suppliers or internal transfers.
Manage stock levels and co-ordinate ordering of replenishment stock.
Use appropriate tools to conduct work and ensure quality, accuracy, and completeness thereof.
Adhere to specific standards, policies, practices and procedures.
