Title: Stock Controller

Location: KZN Logyard (Durban)

The Role

Join our team at Merensky Timber, KZN Logyard, as a Stock Controller and help us manage stock levels, ensure secure storage, and oversee the smooth dispatch of timber. If you have experience working in a depot environment, can work independently, and have a strong focus on customer service, we would love to hear from you!

Qualifications:

Post Matric qualification in logistics / supply chain management

Experience:

At least two years' experience in the stock control function Experience in the timber industry is recommended

Knowledge and Skills:

Strong understanding of warehouse operations

Experience with ERP systems and relevant SOPs

Interpersonal and conflict management skills, with experience in relationship building

Product knowledge relevant to the timber industry

Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Excellent numerical and organizational skills

Strong planning abilities to prioritize tasks and maximize output

Effective interpersonal communication skills
