Job Description
Job Summary REQUIREMENTS
- Matric, or relevant qualifications
- 1 - 2 years experience in Internal Sales - Essential to have worked in Stainless Steel or with Aluminium products
- Experience in Syspro or Pastel
- Computer proficiency in MS Office - Word, Excel, Outlook
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Afrikaans
- Ability to negotiate
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining exemplary customer service
- Ability to work independently to carry out assignments to completion within instructed parameters given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
- Preparing quotations and following up on quotations
- Updating the price Matrix
- Monitoring stock
- Managing customer complaints
- Performing general admin duties as required
- Receiving and managing incoming sales calls and queries
- Conducting cold calling to establish new business
- Liaising with customers and external sales reps regarding deliveries and lead times
- Being involved in order planning and following up on delivery dates
- Being available to carry out stock takes
