Starke Ayres: Trolley Assistant
Job Description
Starke Ayres is the foremost African specialist and global supplier of premium vegetable, flower and lawn seed varieties - both for commercial and home garden planting. The purpose of this role is Assisting customers with trolley management, helping maintain a safe and clean environment, and improving the overall customer experience. This position involves organizing and collecting trolleys, supporting customers with their trolley needs, and ensuring that the facility's trolley systems are properly maintained.
The following position has become available for a Trolley Assistant, based in Sunningdale, Cape Town.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure trolleys are available and accessible for customer use. Inspect trolleys regularly for damage or wear, ensuring that all are in good working condition. Report any faulty or damaged trolleys for repair or replacement. Keep trolley bays, collection points, and surrounding areas clean and free from litter or debris. Assist customers with finding or returning trolleys, ensuring they have a convenient and pleasant shopping experience.
REQUIREMENTS:
Grade 12 (essential if over the age of 16) * Available to work on Weekends and Public Holidays
