Job Description
Hire Resolve's Client is urgently looking for a Standards and Risk Officer to be based at a mine in the North West!
Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with Sections 22 and 23 of the Mine Health and Safety Act.
- Facilitate issue-based risk assessments and integrate outcomes into baseline risk assessments.
- Assist in developing strategies to identify and evaluate operational risks and controls.
- Manage risk escalation, maintain risk registers, and align procedures with changes.
- Oversee change management and communicate updates to relevant departments.
- Grade 12
- National Diploma in Safety Management
- Blasting Certificate or Trade Certificate
- 3 years' experience as Safety Officer or Risk Officer in a mining environment
- Valid Driver's License
- Salary: R1,2m - R1,4m CTC
- Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity)
- Training & Development
- Paid Time Off (PTO) (if applicable)
- Salary: negotiable.
