Job Description

Provide support for bespoke software products, working remotely as a priority, with occasional onsite visits when required.



Manage daily operations and administration within SQL-rich environments, including management, administration, and scripting tasks.



Collaborate effectively with external customers and internal stakeholders.



Take ownership of assigned support calls from initiation to resolution, coordinating across departments and following established escalation policies.



Perform Help Desk administration by ensuring all assigned calls are logged, updated, monitored, and escalated appropriately, maintaining timely and effective service delivery.



Conduct ad-hoc software testing before releasing updates to clients.



Support new product launches, upgrades, and releases, including deployment activities.



Perform product installations and upgrades.



Deliver client training on various software products as needed.



Minimum of 2 years' experience in scripting and administering Microsoft SQL Express, SQL Server, and SQL (required).



Experience in Help Desk administration, including call logging, lifecycle management, and ITIL exposure (required).



Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (required).



Valid driver's license and reliable own transport (essential), with occasional travel required for training and implementations.



Industry experience in the fruit sector is highly advantageous (meat industry experience is also valuable due to similarities in application use).



Familiarity with handheld/mobile scanner technologies, including APK installations and hardware understanding, is beneficial.
