Role Purpose/Business Unit:

Boardroom Booking(DevOps), Qnomy (DevOps),
ECentive (Ops),Asset Tracking Tool(DevOps),

Your responsibilities will include:

• Closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs, objectives, and challenges.
• Translate business requirements into clear and concise functional specifications for technical teams.
• Collaborate with teams to design solutions that meet business needs.
• Propose innovative and practical solutions to address business challenges.
• Ensure that proposed solutions align with the organization's strategic goals and capabilities.
• Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and Retail I.T teams.
• Present findings, recommendations, and project updates to various audiences.
• Implement system changes through automation, process change, managed solutions, and training.
• Conduct diagnostic investigations of application errors, conduct post-mortems, and implement or recommend solutions or methodologies for resolution.
• Environment Management.
• Capacity Planning
• Manage PI demand and capacity
• Agile principles compliance.
• Participate in Vendors Monthly Reviews
• Manage Disaster recovery plans during downtime and/or major disasters.
• Prioritising technical and functional requirements, identifying what the business requires and determining what is feasible to deliver.

The Ideal candiddate for this role will have:

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

• Matric / Grade 12 essential.
• 3 year degree or diploma in IT, Engineering, Computer Science or relevant field
• 3-5 years' experience IS Systems

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

• Working in accordance with DevSecOps practices.
• Oversee technical operations, in a large-scale on-premises and cloud-based technical environment.
• Previous experience in software development will be an advantage
• Agile tooling: Jira, Confluence, Remedy
• Technologies: ReactJS, SQL, SAP BI Reporting, AWS.
• Databases: Linux (RHL8), SQL
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a related role.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Proficiency in requirement gathering techniques, process modeling, and documentation.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and software development lifecycle.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of relevant tools such as Microsoft Visio, JIRA, Confluence, etc.
• Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) is advantageous.
