KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

To continue the development of our online monitoring platforms for production management
Identify monitoring opportunities that will have maximum benefit to the organization
Implementation of point of use monitoring for energy consumption throughout operational sites
Maintain the online platforms already developed
Design and modify interfaces for online platform in accordance with management requirements
Maintain Promanage monitoring system
Identify and implement commercially beneficial Automation projects within the factory
Work with PLC technician teams, on Automation projects.
Support PLC technical team with operational requirements, including critical breakdowns
Improve overall factory automation points
Complete quality improvement and automation projects in line with Qlive portfolio
To prepare and make presentations in areas of responsibility when required
Guide Production Engineering and IT with regards to network Architecture, to support the Organizations movement

towards industry 3.0 and 4.0

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

BEngTech xe2x80x93 Honours (Electronic Engineering), BEng (Mechatronics), BSc (Electronic)
Understanding of PLC and Device communication protocols.
Understanding of network requirements with regards to Industry 4.0
Project management proficiency
Sufficient understanding of IT infrastructure
PLC and electronicsxe2x80x99 fault-finding abilities
Willing to travel to Ladysmith
