Role Purpose/Business Unit:

Provide technical support and guidance to the Law Enforcement Agency (LEA) team, to ensure effectiveness, quality and provide a high standard of services.

Your responsibilities will include:

Quality control and assessment. Produce and ensure the required deliverables (department objectives related to disclosure of information) are met and maintained. To ensure strict adherence to and continuous compliance with all applicable legislative and regulatory requirements governing the disclosure of information under the various Acts applicable to Vodacom. Support and manage the technical infrastructure (systems utilised by LEA) for the LEA team. Ethical Judgment - Strong sense of responsibility and integrity in handling confidential information. Contribute to the design and optimisation of interception systems and disclosure platforms. Ensure systems are scalable, secure, and aligned with regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

Matric/Grade 12 Diploma or relevant qualification in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or equivalent (Essential) At least 5 years' relevant experience (Essential) Experience with interception platforms, data management systems, and secure communication tools. Basic knowledge of network monitoring tools and security protocols.

Computer Applications (Essential) Radio Planning & Optimisation (Essential) Basic system and GSM knowledge (Preferable) Technology Management (Preferable) IT knowledge (Preferable) Analytical Thinking Attention to Detail Communication Skills Understanding of telecommunications infrastructure, including mobile networks (GSM, LTE, 5G). Eligibility for Top Secret Security Clearance from the State Security Agency.
