Specialist Accountant
Job Description
In charge of calculating, monitoring, and analysing the expenses and advantages of significant projects for the entire Group. Using accounting principles to analyse financial data and make sure that the expenses and gains of any project can be linked to the pertinent financial KPIs for each company. Gather financial data and offer insights to update executive level reporting and dashboarding inputs. Help with the upkeep and operation of Microsoft PowerBI visualisations, which offer a monthly status report on initiatives and the project as a whole. It also highlights any data gaps and information that needs to be updated by the business. Widespread senior stakeholder engagement is necessary within the Group.
Education:
- CA(SA) qualification non-negotiable
- 4-5 years post articles in a financial services company
- Experience with senior business stakeholders
- Preparing project funding expectations, budgets, and drawdowns
- Experience with leading a team of 4 or more.
- Consistent exposure to consolidations
