Mint Wellness in Camps Bay is opening a brand new wellness center! We are seeking a Wellness Manager to head up our opening team.

Main purpose of the job:

• The Wellness manager is responsible for the effective and efficient running of the spa.
• Managing the team to provide best service and treatments for guests
• Ensure high hygiene standards are maintained at all times
• Upskill staff through continuous on the job training and demo's
• Develop spa packages and promotions in collaboration with the VnL sales and marketing team
• Cost control
• Elevate retail and treatment sales to achieve targets

Minimum requirements

• Matric
• Beauty / Somatology diploma, preferably CIDESCO, SAAHSP or ITEC
• Minimum 8 years in the beauty industry
• Minimum 2 years in a management role
• Computer literate on all Office programs, especially Excel
• Basic knowledge of OPERA and ESP (advantageous)

Main duties and responsibilities

• Onboarding and exiting of staff
• Liaise with suppliers and ensure regular training incentives
• Maintain client database and facilitate promotion activation
• Cross-promotion
• Design and implement SOP's
• Mentorship and team support
• Therapist training management
• Foster relationships with suppliers and vendors
• Sales and marketing activities
• Creating and distributing marketing materials (with the marketing department)
• Maintain confidential records
• Quality control
• Locum management
• Rostering of staff
• Financial management of the spa
• Must be familiar with all spa treatments and protocols
