We achieve this by fulfilling our promise to bring The Science of Sure to life. We are looking for a skilled and experienced Business Manager to join our Diagnostics division covering the Southern area of Africa. What you can expect

  • You will develop, achieve, and maintain regional business growth and market share through exceptional sales execution.
  • You will have responsibility for managing the diagnostics business in the territory- of Southern Africa through retention and value expansion with current clients and driving new business acquisitions of the molecular and cytology business whilst ensuring profitability.
  • Developing strategic business plans that align with corporate goals and objectives and accountability for short- medium-, and long-term strategies that ensure sustainable, profitable growth.
  • Responsibility for Building and maintaining relationships with decision-makers in the local healthcare ecosystem, including with Government agencies, regulatory bodies, funding and donor agencies, procuring entities, advocacy groups, and implementing partners.
  • This role leads the Southern Africa team and will continuously enhance team performance in collaboration with functional leads and is responsible for the management of distribution and service partners.
  • You will be an effective representative for and positive promotion of the Hologic brand.
What we expect
  • Established sales or business management skills, leading high-performance sales team/function.
  • Proves sales track record and commercial operational management in the healthcare preferably within IVD / diagnostics or related market.
  • Ideal candidate has a collaborative work and management style and disposition and is capable of working remotely within virtual teams and under minimum supervision.
  • Service oriented individual, who achieves exceptionally high levels of customer satisfaction across the continuum of product and service offering.
  • Demonstrated financial analysis and business acumen.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. Proficiency in French is an added advantage.
