Job Description
We're hiring a Sous Chef for our new Linksfield store!
Every great kitchen needs a second-in-command who keeps things moving, even when the Head Chef steps away. At Kleinsky's, that's where our Sous Chef comes in. We're looking for someone who can balance leadership with hands-on cooking, ensuring our standards never slip and our team always has the support they need.
As Sous Chef, you'll run the pass as your main station, oversee mise en place and food preparation, while ensuring every dish that leaves the kitchen is on time and to standard. From coordinating with front of house to monitoring prep and service times, you'll keep the pace steady without compromising on quality. You'll also work closely with the Head Chef to manage stock, maintain quality control and keep stations organised, clean and ready for service. Attention to detail is key, from plating consistency to freshness checks. You'll lead the way when it comes to health, safety and teamwork.
This role is about more than food, it's about people. You'll set the tone in the kitchen, motivate the team and help create an environment where respect and professionalism are the standard.
