We are looking for a Sous Chef
We're a well-established restaurant seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team. Our restaurant is committed to serving high-quality, seasonal Mediterranean dishes in a fast-paced and energetic environment.
Job Summary:
As our ideal candidate, you'll assist the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations, maintaining high culinary standards, and contributing to menu development. If you're passionate about delivering exceptional cuisine and leading a team, we'd love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, including food preparation, presentation, and plating
- Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff to ensure high standards and efficiency
- Contribute to menu planning, development, and implementation
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment
- Monitor inventory, ordering, and storage of ingredients and supplies
- Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience as a Sous Chef or senior chef role - must have 6+ years hospitality chefing experience.
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and sanitation
- Excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
- Creativity, passion, and commitment to delivering exceptional cuisine
