My client a universal mining and metals conglomerate headquartered in both Europe and Australia, ranks among the globe's most extensive and diversified mining enterprises.
The successful incumbent will report to the Sourcing Principal and will be responsible for researching and identifying potential suppliers, both local and international, who can provide the required materials, machinery, and services needed for mining activities. Developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with the specific needs and goals of mining projects. Managing procurement budgets and tracking expenses to ensure that mining operations stay within budget constraints. Ensuring that all sourcing activities adhere to industry regulations, environmental standards, safety guidelines, and ethical sourcing practices.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- BCom - Logistics or Procurement
- 5 years Sourcing and Procurement experience
- 4 years mining industry experience
