Claims Parts Sourcing Specialist

Our client based in Pietermaritzburg is currently looking for a Claims Parts Sourcing Specialist.

Responsibilities:

Assist internal and external loss adjusters with the sourcing of both OEM and alternate, second-hand motor vehicle parts accessories at competitive prices, required as part of the vehicle repair process.
Assist generally with the office administration associated with the internal motor loss adjusters.
Ensuring cost savings as part of the parts accessory sourcing function.
Verify the availability of vehicle parts, accessories and maintain a record of such availability.
Build and maintain relationships with parts, accessory suppliers and panel beaters.
Ensure parts are sourced within agreed service levels and maintain acceptable turnaround times within the claims repair process.
Set and meet agreed procurement targets and create and maintain a database of approved alternate used parts suppliers.

Requirements:

Matric/Grade 12.
Member of the ILASA an advantage (or any other recognised loss adjusting membership bodies).
Audatex accredited training certification.
3 xe2x80x93 5 years of experience within the motor repair industry.
3 xe2x80x93 5 years short-term insurance experience would be an advantage.
