We are excited to announce an opening for the role of Sourcing Business Partner (SBP) for Customer Unit West and Southern Africa. This role entails an exciting blend of Strategic Sourcing, stakeholder engagement, strategic planning, and the development of innovative business solutions. You will be accountable for Sourcing's role across the lifecycle -- from concept to delivery--so projects fulfill business requirements and delight customers. You will collaborate closely with various Sourcing functions and stakeholders, translating product/customer solution requirements into viable strategies. The Sourcing Business Partner reports to the Head of Sourcing CU West and Southern Africa and is an individual contributor role.

What you will do:

Through early and proactive engagement, collaborate with Stakeholders and Sourcing functions, translating product/customer solution requirements into strategies and third-party business solutions, managing sourcing plans, driving cost and delivery performance. Promote business opportunities based on optimized value extraction through partnering, supplier innovation, market insight and Sourcing strategies. Ensure effective management of total spend, drive excellence in cost, supplier efficiency and quality in line with the profitability targets of the company. Define and drive Sourcing vision, strategy, and related targets in alignment with stakeholders and category strategies. Demonstrate and role model the Ericsson core values, and ethical and responsible business practices. Represent Sourcing towards the business stakeholder and other relevant decision & strategy forums. Contribute to partnering with the business and driving stakeholder engagement. Ensure adherence to Group Sourcing steering documentation, process & tools and to Ericsson Responsible Sourcing programs Drive change and take initiatives to help reduce costs and improve efficiency Manage business continuity

The Skills you bring:

Minimum 5 years of Sourcing experience and /or extensive experience negotiating Telecom projects with subcontractors Degree in Business Administration, Economics or Technology, or equivalent through experience. (MBA / Professional Procurement certification is a plus) Demonstrated leadership behaviors, including effectively guiding and influencing diverse teams without direct reporting authority. Entrepreneurial and strategic/commercial experience. Result oriented and stakeholder management Consultative skills, be able to orchestrate and enable efficient decision making Advanced knowledge of Sourcing Process and Strategy is an advantage. Experience in Telecommunications. Strong negotiation experience, either as a customer or a supplier. Relevant Ericsson portfolio knowledge is preferred. Creativity, innovation and able to apply expertise and technology. Change and Improvement Management experience. Ability to leverage AI tools and design-thinking mindset to simplify processes, generate insights, and drive innovative solutions Local laws and regulation knowledge Fluency in English Language. French Language proficiency is a plus.
