Sound Technician
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:- Set up and operate sound equipment for all On Board Cruise Ship entertainment and events- Conduct sound checks and make adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal sound quality- Monitor sound levels during performances and adjust as needed- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise with sound equipment- Maintain and organize sound equipment inventory- Collaborate with other crew members and performers to ensure smooth and successful events- Follow all safety procedures and protocols when handling sound equipment- Keep up to date with industry trends and advancements in sound technologyRequirements:- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Sound Technician in a live entertainment setting- Proficient in operating sound equipment such as mixers, amplifiers, and microphones- Strong understanding of sound principles and systems- Excellent communication and teamwork skills- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed- Valid passport and ability to travel for extended periods of time
