Solar Electrician
Job Description
Full knowledge of electrical control systems, procedures to perform routine preventive maintenance and responds to call outs and breakdowns when required.
Responsibilities : Electrical Installation ; Maintenance ; wiring of electrical circuits ; ensuring compatibility of components. Testing and Fault finding on : distribution boards ; generators ; change over switches ; Transformers. Performs troubleshooting on pumps; boreholes ; lights and Switches ; Installation of LV products.
Carries out preventative maintenance, inspects electrical systems and replacing old wiring and insulated cables and ensure compliance with codes to issue COC.
Maintains OHAS Act requirements in field at All times, adheres to standards, procedures, Housekeeping, Health and Safety procedures.
Must have experience with programing Solis, Sunsynk and Growatt grid tie and hybrid inverters, need to be responsible for programing and maintenance of inverters in the field
REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge and programing skills of the following inverters (Solis, Sunsynk ,Growatt inverters -
MUST PROVIDE PROOF OF CONFIGURATION OF INVERTERS
) Valid drivers' license - must be able to travel nationwide Matric Relevant Technical Qualification Electrical Trade test Certificate Wireman's license NQF Level 4 - Electrical Reliable Own Transport to get to work Strong Electrical Maintenance skills Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines Minimum of 3 years' experience as an Electrician / performing electrical repairs Excellent physical condition and to do Standby Good communication skills - Fluent in English (Read and Write) Ability to work under pressure Ability to distinguish colours Ability to plan and organize Ability to work at heightsPlease consider your application unsuccessful should you not receive feedback within 2 weeks.
